Hotel interiors photography for Shepherd Neame in Kent

Shepherd Neame – Britain’s Oldest Brewer – hold a diverse estate of 348 pubs and hotels across London and the South East. I’ve been shooting hotel interiors photography for Shepherd Neame in Kent for a number of years and was pleased to make recent return visits to the refurbished The George in Cranbrook; The Royal in Deal; The Bell in Sandwich. We still shoot commercial interiors with a mixture of natural, ambient and studio – the same technique used in the some of the other interiors that have been seen in publications such as The Times.

The George Hotel is set in the heart of the Weald of Kent in Cranbrook with feature rooms that including a huge four-poster bed in the room used by Queen Elizabeth I as her ‘retiring room’ when she visited Cranbrook in 1573.

The Royal in Deal is a Georgian Hotel that sits on the beach. Close to Deal Castle, it was once frequented by Lord Nelson and Lady Hamilton. The feature rooms have balconies with sea views.

The Bell in Sandwich is an refurbished Edwardian building, set on the riverside hotel and a short walk from the Secret Gardens of Sandwich. Feature rooms include a riverside view.
