Editorial and pr photography – case study photography

Although I am based in Kent, I travel all over the UK and overseas to shoot for editorial and pr  photography assignments.

I’ve extensive experience in creating strong images to accompany articles for public relations (PR) agencies or in producing a striking image to help generate interest in a dry story. Larger magazine features demands a series of strong images in order to sustain interest. You might need a high impact cover shot and this is something that we can do quickly and creatively. It’s not uncommon for us to be working with CEOs or public figures who have a short amount of time to devote to a photoshoot.

I also regularly produce case studies or feature articles for internal comms or trade publications. Sector experience includes industrial, retail, finance and banking, consumer and B2B.

Editorial & PR

I’ve been working on editorial (images to accompany articles) and PR photography (publicity images) for longer than I care to admit. In addition to working for agencies my work has appeared in BBC History; The Times / Sunday Times / HES; Mail On Sunday; New Statesman; The Spectator; Classic FM Magazine; The Week; The Telegraph; The Guardian; The Independent; KM Group; The Estate’s Gazette; Harper Collins.

Case studies and annual reports

Case studies, client success stories and shareholder annual reports are still a key ingredient of external and internal comms and can form extensive bodies of work shot over long periods of time. Clients include Active Travel England; Irish Continental Group (ICG); Morrisons; English Heritage; AHRC; Stagecoach; Flexicon;

Education and schools prospectuses

If you’re working on your first prospectus or have an annual / biennial cycle of updating an image library, it can be a significant undertaking of matching copy with the right images. I have worked with a number of universities and colleges in higher education, as well as independent and state secondary and primary schools to help create authentic prospectus, brochure and press images.
