Squishy, squashy, squidgy and Kentish Strawberries

Squishy, squashy squidgy – the consistency and sound of any fruit that’s still kicking around the garden. There seems to have been a plague of snails and slugs in Whitstable in recent weeks. Most nights there’s a dual carriageway of slime in our back garden. If I get time I might take some photos, but in the meantime here are some end of season shots of much better and very fine fruit – strawberries – from those nice and clever people at Edward Vinson & Co near Faversham.
