Sports photography for the Kent School Games

Since launching in 2008, I’ve been working with and creating sports photography for the Kent School Games. It’s a biennial event and has grown over the years to be a significant part of the region’s schools sporting calendar and the largest school sports competition in Europe.

The Kent School Games first began as a Kent County Council Olympic and Paralympic legacy project to inspire schools and young people across Kent to participate in competitive school sport. It’s a multi-sport competition open to all young people aged four to 18 in primary, secondary and special needs schools.

The 2016 games mixed finals concluded at the University of Kent’s extensive indoor and outdoor facilities at the Canterbury campus. Official visitors included Tracey  Crouch (Minister for Sport and the Olympics); Mike Diaper (Director of Community Sport, Sport England) and Abigail Chamberlain, captain of the England Rugby 7’s squad.
